We are sad to see Tommy van Oeveren leave his Vice President position and the NPU Board and would like to thank him for all his time and service he provided to NPU during his tenure. “It has been an extreme pleasure serving as NPU Vice President over the past couple of years. I have thoroughly enjoyed assisting NPU Members in and with various tasks, everything from OIS’s, OPR/IA’s, and CRB’s, to the many, many phone conversations giving advice and guidance. Although it has been a lot of work with many hours, it has been an amazing learning and growing experience for me. That being said, there is much going on in my personal life and it is time for me to move on. Effective immediately I am resigning as VP of NPU.
I would like to thank NPU President Dan Gordon and the NPU Board, and especially NPU Executive Director Reesha Powell, from the bottom of my heart for all of their hard work and patience in working together with me throughout my time as VP.
I would also like to thank all of the NHP Command and OPR staff that took the time, patience and willingness to discuss and work through the many cases I handled.
I wish everyone the best moving forward.
